VALOR @ PSCR Conference 2019

The Virtual and Augmented Laboratory for Objective Realities (VALOR) is a warehouse scale virtual reality simulation platform for recreating complex real world scenarios in controlled environments. In this presentation from the 2019 Public Safety and Communications Research conference, we discuss our year one R&D progress and share multimedia recordings of the simulation in action. For this grant, we are focusing on the use of VALOR as an immersive firefighter training simulator as well as a test-bed for augmented reality first responder technology of the future.
